How to become Green Corporate Partner

Our Mission to conserve and recreate the Mauritian Ebony Forest started in 2006.

We are proud to have planted more than 140,000 native plants and weeded more than 16 hectares. Nevertheless, there remains a great challenge ahead. We launched our ecotourism and corporate “green” programmes to create sustainable financing and partnerships to achieve our dream of restoring all 50 hectares of luxuriant indigenous forest for future generations to enjoy.

We believe that the unique and precious wildlife and habitats of Mauritius can go hand in hand with a thriving and economically successful society. We are thus striving to work together with businesses, schools, charities and communities to sustain the restoration and conservation work at Ebony Forest.

We are always seeking new opportunities to work with businesses. As a corporate partner, we invite you to sponsor one of our projects that you can link to a wide range of important initiatives: Education, Carbon Offsetting, Community Engagement, Sustainability, Economic Development, Recreation, Health, Sports and wellness.

How can you partner with us?

Staff outings & green activities:
Learn & connect with nature at Ebony Forest.

Education:
Spending time outdoors in forests while connecting and learning in nature has many benefits. Sponsor the visit of a school, organisation or association.

Adopt a restoration plot at Ebony Forest:
Planting and weeding of your plot is great for team-building, reducing your carbon footprint and your company green and sustainable image. This includes free visits for staff and stakeholders during the year of sponsorship.

Venue – Conference & Teambuilding:
Besides the forest we have two conference rooms that can be rented for the day.

Save the Mauritian Flora & Fauna:
Your company can become the sole sponsor of an endangered species. We have more than 145 of the 691 Mauritian endangered plants and 6 out of the 9 endemic birds.

Being seen as a corporate partner can bring many benefits. A partnership with Ebony Forest Reserve can also contribute to achieve a variety of sales, marketing, promotion and social goals.
